Dear Birch Creek Students, Parents, and Community Members:

I am thrilled to introduce myself as the newly appointed Assistant Principal of Birch Creek Elementary and a proud inaugural member of the Blue Jay family. It is truly an honor to join you on this exciting journey as we work together to build a strong foundation for our students, staff, and families.

I bring over 20 years of experience in education, including five years of teaching and coaching experience within Henry County Schools' in the EL Cluster. My diverse background spans elementary, middle, and high school levels, both domestically and internationally. Throughout my

career, I’ve had the privilege of serving in various leadership roles such as Coach, Mentor, Department Chair, Academy Leader, Athletic Business Manager, PBIS Coach, and Lead Trainer. These experiences have shaped my approach to fostering a positive school culture, supporting student growth, and building strong relationships with staff and the community.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and continued my education by obtaining a Master’s, Specialist, and Doctorate degree from esteemed universities. My educational journey, combined with my hands-on experience, equips me with the skills and knowledge necessary to support our students’ academic, social, and emotional development.

At Birch Creek Elementary, my goal is to help create a vibrant, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and empowered to achieve their full potential. I am committed to working collaboratively with our dedicated staff, parents, and the broader community to ensure that Birch Creek becomes a place of learning, growth, and innovation for all.
